Point Coaching · Organisations often ask us to provide coaching to individuals at a key point in their career. This is not 'remedial' coaching - we find that our clients' motivation is to invest their budgets in the people they want to nurture and retain. Here are some examples: · Preparing for promotion · There may be identified areas or behaviours to polish prior to an assessment process or in the run up to a promotion window. Here we can help by providing very tailored coaching that enables the individual to focus on certain key skills or competencies. They will usually have a high degree of clarity about the expected outcome and the full support of their line manager. · Quickly acclimatising to a new role · Businesses need their people performing at the required level as soon as possible, they do not have the luxury to wait 6 or even 12 months whilst someone 'settles down and gets up to speed'. The trick for any new incumbent is to be able to assimilate so much that is new; information, a way of working, team members even a new boss, whilst learning how to perform and behave at the new, higher level.
